Norbert has a wealth of banking experience in Credit Operations, Corporate Banking and Retail Banking and Projects spanning over 20years having worked for several banks in both the Region and domestic market. He is credited for successfully concluding the restructuring of Barclays Bank Zambia Retail Operations in 2006 as well as turning around a number of underperforming Barclays Bank Branches in Zimbabwe. He was instrumental in the setup of the NMB Retail Banking model in 2000. Among the senior positions he held include Retail Banking Director- Barclays Bank Zambia, General Manager,-TN Bank, Branch Manager and Head Commercial Business Unit –NMB Bank, Provincial Executive-Agribank, Product Development and Marketing Manager –Barclay Card Centre Harare, Wealth Manager encompassing Priority Banking, Select Banking and Mass Market-Standard Chartered Bank Zimbabwe, Director Orbit advisory Services and Head -Credit and Operations IDBZ. He has travelled vastly in the Region and internationally on work assignments to South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Egypt, Tanzania, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland. Norbert currently chairs the Bank’s ALCO and represents the Bank on the following Boards, ZimCampus, USAP as well as a Trustee for NOSIPO Legal Aid Foundation. During his stints in the various institutions he has contributed immensely to the following committees, ALCO, Management Credit Committee, Loans Review Committee, Board Attendance, Management Board Finance and Risk, Investment Committee and Business Development Committee.
